This is the Name of my Real Life Reality Show. My life has been one HUGE Yo Yo ride. I'm up then I'm down. I go Up Up Up and then Down Down Down. Lets just hope this time the string will break and I will stay down!!!
Monday was "Weigh in Day" and I lost ZERO, zip ziltch, NADA! Nada damn thing! Oh well...it's better than gaining HUH!
So let me just tell you the AWSOME idea I had the other day. Me, 209 pound me, decided that it would be a great idea for me to get extra exercise so I decided that I would (when the weather gets nicer) Let the kids ride thier bikes to school. This being said, if they ride to school then I have to ride too. There is a busy street they have to cross and I don't want them to do it by themselves. Any who...I thought that I should ride it first to see what it would be like. It's two miles there and two back so a total of 4 miles in the morning and then another 4 miles in the afternoon. YEOWCH! So It was a BE-U-TI-FUL day yesterday, (so nice we grilled out) 72 to be exact, and I thought I would do my trial run. Got on my bike and took off. I need to talk to the ladies in the front office at school anyway so I was killing two birds with one stone! Gotta love the motivation I had yesterday! Ok, so I am riding down the street to the first stop sign and I'm doing ok, but right past the first stop sign, I started feeling it in my thighs and was wondering if this was not such a GREAT idea. But I didn't listen and kept right on treckin. I will not bore you with the whole trip to the school...yes I made it and yes I thought I was never going to be able to walk again when I got there and mind you I had to go back home too. Lets just say I am having second thoguhts on the whole ride your bike to school thing. My butt is so sore and you saw the pictures...I have padding and my seat it a jell seat so it is really comfy, Don't know how I bruised my butt but I did. The kids have spring break next week so we will try it all together to see how we do as a team and how long it takes us. I have not givin up yet but I sure want to.

LOVE YOU!!!!
Good evening darling daughter #2. Your sister is right. . .yaaayyyy for you and don't give up. It WILL
get easier. I'm very proud of you and I love you bunches.
Hey Dawn,
Every year I ride the MS 150 which is a 180 mile bike ride over 2 days. When I did it the very first time, or when I was training to do it anyway, I thought my poor butt was going to just fall right off, but it gets easier, I PROMISE!! You just aren't used to actually sitting on your sits bones, but on your padding, which is the difference in a bike seat vs a chair. Keep going girl, keep going!!
Melanie
You always are a go getter when comes to the excerise part. I on the other hand didn't make to mom & dad's after shopping yesterday.
I was thinking as I was reading your story that the issue might not be the actual riding part but getting your daughter up and ready in time to ride her bike and still make it to school on time.
Love ya,
Kris
Kris, I would have to think there might be a little truth to what you say there. She is a bear to get going in the mornings!
Mom, Melanie and Janine, thanks and I hope you are right with the getting easier! But big butt can only handle so much!!!! =0
Dear One...Hang in there Dawn; you have some Rider blood in you, so I know you can do it!!...Love You MUCH!!...Aunt CathyR
