And the Winner is....

Patrick, by a land slide in the Oswego Area Pinewood Derby Race for Cub Scouts. He won first place in the Tigers group AND the All Around. His car even won "Best overall Design" Mike, Eric and Patrick worked very hard on the car and it payed off very well. They were all proud of their work. But alas it was only in his Pack. When we went to the "Cross Town" to see who would go to District he won all of those too, but he did so well they rechecked his car and it was disqualified because Mike had done some work on the inside of the wheels and they said he couldn't do that. The rules we got were totally different than the Cross Towns and so although he kicked all those kids butts he was out. He was so sad as was Mike. They both worked so hard and then this. But hey...there is always next year!

Heeeelllloooooooo! (as said by Jerry Seinfield) :)

Yes...yes I know its been awhile. I would love to say that I have been sooooooo busy but then that would not be a good enough reason because although December is a busy month with Christmas and birthday and usually going home for the holidays my pictures here start in November...November 10th to be exact. Patricks birthday. I really don't know what I have done for the past 2 months but I can tell you blogging is not one of them. So I have a few pictures here that will show you what I have caught on camera in the last two months. Mind you it's not alot but none the less they are pictures of the fam and our trip to Tulsa and a few more I threw in. I hope you enjoy. Patricks 8th birthday.

Look at this face. And those eyes!!! Look out ladies!

Patrick and Taylor. Don't let the smiles fool you
this is a rare capture of them liking each other!!

Our stocking hung by the chimney with care!

The kids getting off the bus in 8 degree snowy weather!

This would be Puff. Erics Bearded Dragon. I call him my
grandchild since I have to take care of him most of the time.
He usually sleeps curled up in the corner so when I caught
him like this I had to take a picture of him.

We pass through St Louis on our way to Tulsa
and this is one of Patricks favorite places. We
have gone to the top of the arch and every time
we go through St Louis Patrick has to see the arch.

Patrick, Taylor and Brandon in the back seat of the van.
Taylor is pointing to the tooth she lost on our way to Tulsa.
And you see...Patirck making the devil sign behind Taylor??
I told you!!!

And here we have little miss Kendra. And yes Patrick
is doing it AGAIN!!!!! I say little miss but she has turned into
a lovely young lady. Senior this year. I can't believe
that both she and Brandon will graduate this year.

Mike and Kendra at the Zoo in the Elephant museume.
Kendra loves elephants.

This is an awsome picture of Kendra in the caves
at the zoo. We laughed so hard I almost wet
myself! Ahhhhh getting older...you gotta love it!
So there you have it. What I have been doing the past 2 months and not blogging about. But I have now. I think my New Years Resolution is to blog more. Yeah right!!!! Along with the dieting I am going to be doing. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!! Oh I have to stop because I just can't laugh anymore I might wake up Eric...oh did I mention (I'm sure not because I don't blog like I should) that Eric is now working the night shift. Mike promoted him to Supervisor of the night shift. He has done such a great job. Mike and I are both sooooo proud of him and what he is doing. He plans on going to school for electrical engineering. He has come such a long way in the past 3 years. Ok so now you have it. Live is good, the kids are good and we have another year under our belts. I hope everyone has a happy new year!!!!!
