Dilemma

OK...it has been brought to our attention that our new next door neighbor is a convicted child molester. Yep you read it right. He was part of a sting operation and was caught and through that sting they found a 13year old girl he had molested. My dilemma is what to do about my kids. What do I say to them about this man?? Do I say anything at all?? Do I make my other neighbors with young girls aware of the man?? I just have a lot of questions don't I. It worries me to have this man living next to us when I have an 11 year old girl who is budding as some might put it. His wife is nice ( still can't understand why she is still with him), we have met and talked and he has 2 young boys who ride the bus with P and T. P is good friends with the younger of the two boys. So Please if you have any thoughts or comments on this all is welcome. I just have no idea and you never think that your going to have some pervert living next to you . Thanks peoples!

She's Gone

She was here, but now she is gone...Yes my best friend K was here for a whole week and I had to drop her off at the airport this afternoon. No tears this time since we will see each other in a month. I guess we will be going home to Tulsa the day after Christmas, at least that is the plan at this date in time. We will see. We had a great time shopping and decorating the house. We got alot of the pictures hung and it looks like a home now. Satruday we went downtown Chicago for the 17th Anuual Festival of Lights. Nothing really exciting but there was a parade and Mickey Mouse, Minne, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Chip n Dale, Bolt and the Cheeta Girls were all there. I will post some pics later. Right now I am waiting for the kids to get home so I can go grocery shopping for the week. Yippee! I so love doing that!!! NOT! I will talk more about the Lights Festival with the pics. So much to tell. More later!

I'm in trouble and does anyone need any Candy??

Just look at those eyes! I am in so much trouble and I only have myself to blame. I am soooo sorry Mom and Dad. I'm still not sure where she is getting the good looks from. I know not her father, but then it sure the heck isn't me!! Mr Indiana Jones himself! He's just to dang cute for words too.

Here they are together. I wish they got along this good all the time. But they do not. Dang it!!

And here is just the stash of T's big night out on the town. Anyone want any candy??? We have tons to spare.

I will be taking half of it and sending it to the school. They are taking donations for some charity and my kids, nor do I need this much candy in the house. M is taking what we have left which by the way is most of the bowl, to work with him. Just as long as I don't have to look at it and be tempted by it. Milky Ways are my weekness. Hope you enjoyed the pics. My BFF is going to be here in 14 days! I can't wait!!! Neither can P and T. M just wants pictures up on the wall so he is looking forward to her visit also! Everyone take care and we'll be blogin soon!

What a morning!

Just so every one can have a good laugh at my expense I will share with you what my morning was like.

Nothing out of the normal, just the same ol same ol. Got the kids up, fed them, got them on the bus and off to school. Didnt' miss the bus today like we did yesterday (yay!) You think that would be a plus and a good start to my day. Uuuh Nuuuh! I found P's cowboy boots that he plays outside in and climbs the mountain next to the Hacienda (spelling?) Any who, it is freeeeking cold outside, (we had snow flurries yesterday) but I can't clean them off in the house soooooooo yes, I have to go outside on the back porch and I am pulling huge amounts of mud clods off of these stinking boots and I notice I left the door open and the heater is on so I close the door. Do you see where I am going with this????? Not only did the door lock behind me, but I am in cut off sweats, a t-shirt, my hair (and it is short) back in a head band and my slippers. Oh and my mom's signature kitchen towel over my shoulder. HOT! Yep I was lookin HOT! I went around to the front door praying that it was unlocked. NOPE! The house was locked up tight. So I had to walk across the street to my neighbors house I have only met once, ONCE mind you looking like I was early for "Trick or Treating" SCARY!!!!!! She was very nice though and let me use the phone to call M so he could drive home and let me in. Needless to say he was not a happy camper and just laughed when he saw me walk across the street. I hope my day gets better!! So you can all stop laughing now.

Halloween

Hello all! I just thought I would send some pics of the kids in Halloween costumes. It is the season you know. The kids have been hounding me about costumes this year and so I guess we are off this weekend in search of Indiana Jones and a Witch costume. Fun will be had by all I am sure of it! They are both looking forward to it and won't stop talking about it.

All is well here. The kids have a three day weekend with Columbus day on Monday. Blinds will be put up on Monday as well. We have been waiting for three weeks for these things. I really hate not having blinds and every one and their dog can see in my house. But Monday is the day! Whoo Hooo!

I hope you enjoy the pictures of our little/big gobblins!

This is P and T last year on Halloween. If you look really close (click on the pic) The thing in P's hands is a plastic hatchet. He didn't have a storm trooper gun and he needed SOMETHING!! Well at least that is what HE thought! And here we have my lovely 10 year old (who thinks she is 17) showing off her press on nails I let her get for her outfit. (they only lasted about 15 mins before starting to come off)

Next we have B and K (K being the witch) This was the one and only time we had them for Halloween. This was the first year M and I were married 03'

And oh how sweet this one looks in 03'. Her first Halloween in Indiana. My little princess.

But I would have to say this was to freekin cute for words. Just turn 3 and to this day still remembers that T broke the sword he is holding and M had to fix it with Epoxy or how ever you spell that word. Click on the pic and you can see where it is fixed.

These sad to say are the only pictures I have of my kids on Halloween. All was lost when the computer took a dive. So if any of you have pics I MIGHT have sent (not to good at doing the sending pics thing) Could you please send them to me??? May you all have a wonderful weekend! Love and miss you all!

My little Monkey!

Ok, we have this dirt pile next to our house which P LOVES to climb. He is my little monkey!! This is a close up of him sitting in the side of it in a hole he dug himself.

And here he is standing up in the hole he dug in the side of it!!!! Can you see the roof on the other side of the hill???? Yes the hill is as tall as our two story house and the boy has a blast on that thing. Is scares me to death to let him play on it but he is 100% boy and loves to do it.

You talk about scary. But he's been climbing everything since he was 4. Stop signs all the way to the very top. Had a picture of that but lost it with the hard drive of the last computer :(

Things here are going well. I have most boxes unpacked and things put away. No pictures hung yet...waiting for the 17th of November when my best friend Kris will be here. She has a lot of decorating to do! And I am sure she is ready for the job. This will be house #3 she has gotten to help me with. When I told M that she was coming, I did it at dinner with son#1 E at the table too. He just laughed and shook his head and M said "I know, I know!" It seems that every time she comes to visit the house gets new things and just looks to dang good! We are looking forward to her visit.

Well, the kids are just getting home from school so I need to see what homework there is. Have a good one!

My 11 year old

Today she is 11.

When I woke her up this morning, I told her that she better have fun today because I could no longer allow her to get any older. She just looked at me and said "What do you mean mom?" I said "I have to kill ya! You can't get any older." "Yeah right." was her come back. Then she said "what about you? Your still here." me "My mom and dad weren't smart enough and look at what they had to put up with." So I gave her an option. Either offen her or she could live in a cage the rest of her life. Both P and T chose the cage. They thought they wouldn't have to go to school anymore. I advised them that I would have to buy a crane and take them every where that way. I am sure I found this alot funnier than all of you. The three of us laughed about it on the way to school. I just can't believe she is 11...ELEVEN!! AHHHHHHH where does the time go???

Say hello to my little friend

Or not so little. Dang, I thought everything in TX was bigger but I think IL has one on them. This is the biggest praying mantis I have EVER seen. He was helping me get gas yesterday. For a moment I thought he might start talking to me he was so big. Ok...no....I was not on anything thank you very much. He was just huge.

Anyway, things here are going ok. They put carpet in the house yesterday and all the door knobs too. It is coming together quickly. We have the first walk through on Wednesday the 10th at 12:30. I can't wait! There are a few things they need to fix but it is really looking awesome. I can't wait to sleep in my bed. This air mattress thing is getting very uncomfortable. The older I get the more things I find I can't sleep on. When M and I first got married and went camping we slept on the ground in sleeping bags then it went to air mattresses. Then we upgraded to a double queen size mattress which is what we are sleeping on right now. Next I think its a hotel. But then that wouldn't be camping huh?

I wanted to say thanks to all who commented about the no friends and me hating it here. I hope you are all right. But it seems that people in IL are not as friendly as IN and OK and TX. But then OZ never gave nothing to the tin man that he didn't already have. (sorry I'm listening to my IPOD and America's Tin Man. Who knows where my brain is and what it is doing. The fumes of the cleaning solutions must be getting to me.

I did take pictures of the house yesterday but they all came out bad. M has to take the pics, I'm just not good at it. I will post some this weekend. Have a great Friday/weekend.

My first bad day.

I knew it was inevitable and today was or should I say is the day. I hate it here. I want to go back to Indiana (or OK for that matter or hey even better yet TX!!!!!) Any place but here. I have no friends and all I do is clean, laundry and EAT! It sucks and I want my friends and family around me. I was doing OK until I called my old neighbor and she told me that she and another neighbor were getting ready to go and have brunch. I started to cry and felt really stupid because I was driving down 55 on my way back home from taking the kids to school and people were looking at me like I was crazy. Oh well I guess life does go on without me.

My house won't be done soon enough. I hate not having MY things. My dishes, my recipes etc. I guess I just need to snap out of it and stop feeling sorry for myself. I know others have it allot worse and I should be grateful. ( I still hate it here!! :p )

Our weekend was quite. M and #1 E went to WI and went mountain bike riding on Sunday. Both came back unharmed. I was more worried about M than E because there is a bit of a age difference. But they had fun. I took P and T to see Wall-E. It was OK. But they liked it. To young to get the meaning of the whole thing. We also went to an apple orchard we found and got apples and fudge and fresh honey. They have a corn maze but it wasn't open yet. We will have to take them back in a couple of weeks and go through that.

Well I guess that would be if for today, my life being so exciting and all. NOT! Oh whoa is me. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Call of the day????

Ok...where do I begin?? I guess at the beginning huh. Anyway, on the first day of school P tells me about "the call of the day" he has in class. I guess if you show exception throughout the day you get "the call of the day." If you know P and most of you do he is sweet but has his moments. Last year his teacher had to send home a report everyday on how he did and what card he was on. Very rarely was it green. Blue most of the time and an occasional yellow with a red maybe once or twice a month. Needless to say he was a little disruptive in class. He wants to be the class clown, really, he tells me that. Heaven help me. Anyway I got the paper that told me of this "call of the day" The teacher calls you to tell you of the wonderful things your child has done that day to get "the call of the day" and P asked me if he got it could he have this new Star Wars helmet he has been dying for. So me knowing it won't happen any time soon I say why sure!!! Uh yeah....WRONG! I get a call on my way to pick up the kids from school and it is his teacher calling to let me know that not only did he get the "call of the day" but the principle also had to tell her what an outstanding job he did on the playground today helping her clean up all the balls. Also an aid on the playground told her what an outstanding job he did. Not only do you get the call but she puts you on speaker and the kids in his class cheered for him. I know his smile was ear to ear. I am so proud of him. I guess I need to be more careful of what I promise him huh. LOL Oh and when I got the kids from school the Principle was out and she came up to the car and told me how she had met T today and how all of her classmates say how kind she is so she invited T to have lunch with her on Tuesday and the told me of P and what he did today and told me I had awesome kids. MADE MY WHOLE DAY!!!!!! Now if they could just do that at home. ;) What a way to start a long weekend.

It's getting there!

Well here are some pics of the house. First we have the counter top. I didn't think I was going to like it when I picked it out but with the dark cabinets it makes the granite look awesome! I was so excited with I saw it. Like a kid in a candy store.

Here are our cabinets and just a couple of light fixtures. Still waiting for the rest of the granite to be put in.
And here we have the front of the house with all the workers painting away. They all seemed to look the other way when I took this picture. If you can see one guy is walking out of the house but when he saw me he kinda hid. (must not have a green card :) LOL)
We have our first walk though on the 9TH. (T's birthday) She is going to have a sucky 11TH birthday. She is in a new school, (no friends yet) our oven in the rental house is as old as dirt and does not bake with a darn so that means I won't be able to bake her birthday cake like I do every year or bake treats for her class like I do every year. She is not happy about that. I will have to make it up to her when we move in our new house. They just never really get it though. Oh well...what is a mom to do??

WooHooooooo!

Here is P his first day of Preschool Here is T here first day of Kindergarten

Present day first day of 2ND grade

And here you have miss T first day of 5Th...yes 5Th grade!

They are getting sooooo big it scares me sometimes. T is so beautiful and I think I am ready to lock her up until she is 21. NO dates or anything of that nature. I know how I was and boy am I in for some BIG trouble!!! She is so much like me its freaky.

I thought it would be a little sad when I dropped the kids off today but then I did it and a wave of relief flowed over me as I was walking out of the the building. A teacher was standing there talking to another teacher and she said woo hoo. So I looked at her as said "that is exactly what I was thinking, Woo Hoo....I don't got no kids!!!" They both started to laugh and I said..."this is going to be a great day." It's so quiet in the house, I can finally sit down and post on my blog and not have to worry about the kids and what they are getting into or NO FIGHTING!!!!!! Yippeeee! I love school! This was an extra long summer with us moving around and it was a well welcomed day! (if that makes any since).

Beside school starting not much going on. The house is coming along. I will post later with pics of that. We close three weeks from yesterday. I can't wait. Right now I have to get up and drive the kids to school and pick them up. Not as bad as I thought it would be. It was a pretty smooth drive to and from. I did have a little incident on Sunday morning. I was having chest pains and my left arm was tingling with major pain in it and my back. So M took me to the hospital and they did all kinds of blood tests, an EKG and my ticker is fine. They kept me overnight for observation and I had to do a stress test the next morning. All is fine I just have heart burn. I never knew that heart burn could feel like a heart attack. It was crazy! But like I said, my ticker is still tickin and its perfect. RELIEF!!!!!! I just have to take Nexium for the rest of my life I guess. Oh well, better than the heart attack!!! Like I said, I'll post some pics of the house a little later! Have a great day all!

Here it is....

T's new hair cute. She still kinda HATES it cuz I cut it to short but it looks sooooo cute. I wish she would just leave it short.

Well we officially got notice yesterday that our closing date it the 16th of September at 1pm. Wooo Hooo! M told me that our cabinets are in and the hard wood floors are down, just not stained yet and we have stairs too! I can't wait to see it on Saturday.

The packers come in the morning and I have tons to do today. I am so going to miss this neighborhood. We went over the our friends house last night for dinner Mark and Shannon's. I am going to miss them the most. They have been awesome friends and love my kids like they were their own. The whole circle of friends are suppose to get together on Wednesday night and have a cook out and say our goodbyes. That will be a sad evening.

The kids and I went to Greenwood (our old neighborhood ) and spent time with friends there. It was sad to have to say goodbye to them as well. I will miss them all terribly!

Our computer is going to be packed away by Thursday so you won't be hearing from me until Saturday I'm thinkin. So know I am out there just to busy and without the net! Love you all tons and thanks for reading!

Well here are a couple of pics of the house. Mike came home this weekend and brought pics. I will blog later about my weekend with the old and new hood women this weekend. We had a blast. I will miss them all bunches! This is in the family room. The view from the back is beautiful.

This is the front of our new home. Still missing sideing but it's coming along.
Only 6 to 7 more weeks!! We can't wait.

And yet more pics (can ya believe it?)

Well here are a few more pics. This is M and E at the Blues Festival in Chicago. It was a beautiful day. This is B and K 17 now. Can you believe it? They are growing up so fast. This is on a water tour of the Architecture of down town Chicago. It was very interesting and the buildings are beautiful.

And this my friends is P and he LOVES Jalapenos! Wait for it

Blam! He does however have to drink a lot of water when he is finishes though.
I still don't know how to put pictures on this very well. I have others but if I try to add them they go to the top. I don't know how to put them in one right after the other. If anyone can help with that....anyone?

More pics

I can't figure out how to turn this pic around so deal with it. You want pics you got em! :) This is at the White Sox Game. Oh and T's hair is short now! Just at her ears. I know you will want to see that too Kris. I'm working on it!

This is T, M2 and P at the Brookfield Zoo

This of course is in Chicago when little Bro and the fam were there. P had to have his picture taken on anything he could put his butt on!!! That's my lion tamer for ya!
Hopefully you will be able to click on the pics and see them larger. Some you can and some you can't. So that's it for now. I will try and get more pics of the house when I get them!

Relief

Well, it still may be ours but we did rent it out!!! Yea!!! A couple from Florida came by to look at it on Sunday morning and put a deposit down on it. The husband is being transferred to Carmel IN just a few miles away and they loved the house and had to have it. They move in the weekend of the 15th. Our movers come on the 13th to pack us and they will load us up on the 14th and hello Chicago! WoW! it happened so fast. They seem like really nice people. They have 2 kids boy/girl both in high school. She seems just like me so I am not worried about my house being trashed. WooHoo! That is/was my biggest fear with the whole renter thing.

and this is the view from my new bedroom window!!!!!! It is so beautiful in the back of the house! This is what I am looking forward to.

Mama needs her drugs!

Ok, some of you (and you know who you are) (stop smiling) know me and my meds. Well I stopped cold turkey again cuz...you know, I was better, right? Yuh no! Not so much. The stress is getting to me with the house, the new house and blah, blah, blah you name it! Well, I decided it was going to be best, like I said in the last post to start the kids out in Noblesville. Less stress for me with the kids in school. Well know it looks like we are going to rent the house out. We put an add in the paper on Wednesday and have had 3 calls already. M thinks he has found a renter. They want to lease to buy and that is what we really want too. So now it looks like we will be moving up here in a couple of weeks. AHHHHHHHHHHH...I need my drugs. So it seems as though I will be calling the ol' Doc when I get back and make an appointment. Things will be much better then. I hope, I hope, I hope. Mama needs a new pair of shoes (and the drugs) ;)

Here we go AGAIN!

We are off to Chi-town AGAIN! This is getting pretty old let me just say!! But I think it will be the last visit until we close on our house in September. I have decided to start the kids in school here on the 11th of Aug. The school they will be going to in Plainfield starts the 27th of Aug but I would have to start them in Downers Grove due to the fact we would have to pay $2,000.00 in tuition since we don't technology live in the district until we close. So it would be to much of a hastle so I'll just start them here and then transfer them when we close. (plus mama gets some quite time sooner this way woohoo)

We will be going to Six Flags Great America some time this week. This kids are looking forward to it. They both love the roller coasters as do I and I will be right there with them screaming my head off. They have this one that goes straight up for a long time and then kinda levels off and then BAM straight down she goes!!! AHHHHHHH plus a few other words was the first things out of my mouth the first time I road that one with the twins B & K or #2 and #3. Anyway, we are looking forward to it. #2 is already in Chi-town with M and #1. He is staying the week up there before school starts. I think he wants to move up and live with us but is afraid to tell his mom that is what he wants. He has turned out to be one fine kid. (I had my doubts when M and I first go married)

Well I guess that is all for tonight, I really need to get to bed so I can get up and vacuum, pack up the jeep and hit the road. WooHoo again! Night All!

Are your fingers cramped yet???

Ok, so I have been told that I left you hanging...well if I have to hang...ok dang...sorry I left you all hanging. But as well we are still hanging. Not even a no, we don't want it. But we did however have a showing yesterday but no word on that one either. So I guess you can all uncross your fingers and just say a little prayer if you would.

We (the kids and I) just got back from Chicago yesterday and let me tell ya it is so good to sleep in my own bed. I did get to see my brother and his family while we were there. It was really good to see them and spend some time with them. I miss not having family around us and it just seems that we keep moving further away with each move.

Nothing exciting happening here. P has a dentist appt today. WooHoo! I told you so. Well...I guess I will be going now. Hopefully some thing exciting will happen in the next couple of days, like we sell this house. That would be amazing!

Sunday, July 13, 2008

Keep your fingers crossed

Well, the family that looked at the house on Friday came back and saw it again yesterday. That is a good sign but no word yet. So keep them fingers crossed!!!!!

Thursday, July 10, 2008

Home at last!!!

Well...they are home! YEA!!!! All in one piece and unharmed...physically that is. Well, I guess I shouldn't even say that either. #5 P is missing his two front teeth (tooth fairy failed to show up in OR) and T is missing her tooth that was fixed just a few months ago. She was eating a sucker and bit it with her front tooth and it broke off. What not to do with your front teeth!!! She knows that now. Now I have to get her into the dentist and have it fixed AGAIN! But they are sooooooooo happy to be back home. P told me at least 20 times on Monday night that it was great to be back home. The story's they told...well lets just say he is messing up being a father to them and it is his own fault. He will be sorry one day for all the stuff he has told them. All I can say to them is sorry, he is just an unhappy person right now. But hey, they are home and I am so glad to have them back. The hubby has the camera, but he will be home this weekend so I can show you picks of the toothless wonders :)

On an even brighter note...we have a showing on the house tomorrow morning so please everyone lets say a little prayer that these are the buyers! We need to sell this house. Ours is more than halfway done. We really don't want duel house payments. I will try and post more often. I don't really stay at the computer with the kids home now, I have been trying to spend time with them. But that my friends will wear off soon I am sure. M O Y as my lovely sister would say. (mom of the year) She thinks she has it hands down.....I got her beat by a mile!!!!

Hello all! Sorry it has been so long since I last blogged. I haven't been around my computer in a couple of weeks. This will be short and I will blog once I get my pictures off the camera that M has in Chicago. He will be here on Friday. I have talked to the kids and they seem to be doing OK? I'll fill you in later.

Their gone

Well it's done! I put them on the plane today and didn't cry until they left. (sigh) I do hope they have fun but I also hope that I don't sit here and worry about them the whole time they are gone. I would like to enjoy the quite and no fighting and constantly wanting my attention. That would be nice but we will see what happens. I am in Chicago and the hubby and #1 son and I are going to go downtown to some place called Dicks something. The hubby said it was a fun place and not to wear a tie? I guess they cut them off if you wear one. Anyway...I am sad but it will be ok because my sister and my bestest friend told me so and if you can't trust your sister and your bestest friend, who can you trust? I have pictures to show you of the kids but I'm not at home. I am on #1 son's computer so I will have to post those on Monday after I get home but not before I go to the pool and layout and soak up some sun! I know I might enjoy that!!

It will be fine Dawn...fine!!!!

Here is T at age 5.

Here is P at 2 years old.

This is T and P Christmas 2007 decorating
Christmas cookies.

How far they have come in just 5 years. They leave tomorrow and I don't think I will do well at the Airport. They haven't has this much visit time with their dad since 2003 and he only had them 8 days (was suppose to have them 6 wks) but that is another story all in itself. They are upstairs in their beds and I just had to go in and look a them sleeping. Don't you love that. They look sooo cute and warm and not yelling, crying. fighting or just bugging in general. That's when they are at their best don't you think. Well I do so sue me! ;)

Today is the last day of school and they are both so excited about it and plus they get to ride on an airplane tomorrow. I will miss those little ones. Glad to have time alone for more than just one day when they spend the night with a friend, nooooo sirree 4 weeks. Four weeks of me wondering if they are ok, do they want to talk to me and he won't let them call? Are they having fun. Yep...four relaxing weeks for me! Aaaaaaah Well I will at least try and relax. I will miss them terribly but hope they have fun. They deserve a vacation and Oregon is beautiful and they will love it. See...I'm already relaxing. Aaaaaaaaah

I have tons to do today before we leave for Chicago. I'll stay there over the weekend with the hubby and #1 woohoo! Ok you all might want to call and see if I am alright because #1 is almost as bad as #4&#5 put together, just in an older way. Aiy Yi Yi Oh well I guess I have done enough pouting for now. I'm off to pack, vacuum laundry and about a million other things I have to do before we leave at 4:00. Wish me luck! And that I don't sob at the gate when the kids get on the plane.

What not to do with a bottle of Propel water!

Well I finally have something to blog about! My lovely #5 P loves Propel water. Wants to drink it all the time, which is good, its not soda and all the sugar from other drinks so I should be thankful right? Uuhhhhh yano. He asked for a bottle on Monday night and took it to the basement. I called down later and told them it was time for bed and they both #4 and #5 came running up the stairs and I stoped #5 and looked at his face and said..."Why do you have a purple mustache?" And he goes to wipe it off. "Ownt know" his favorite words. "Well go upstairs and wash your face and get ready for bed." So a few minuets later I go in to read stories and he still has the same purple stash on the upper and what looks like to be the lower lip also. "P" I say "did you put your lips in the bottle of Propel?" "Yeah" he said, "and then I sucked the water out of the bottle." So needless to say my son has a hickey,a purple one at that around his mouth the perfect shape of the propel bottle. I wish I had my camera but M has it in Chicago, taking pictures of the "making of the house". So what is the moral to this story? Never stick your lips in a bottle of propel water and suck, you will get a big hickey around your mouth!!!!

Not so much

Hello to my many readers (LOL) Well, I think we might have sold the house but I don't know 100% so I won't jinx it. We are going on week 2 without M here to help me keep the house clean and tidy so people can come look at it at a drop of a hat, kinda sucks! I just hope it is all over SOON! I could talk about my brother and sister-in-laws new dog but every body that reads that...reads this. And I could talk about my sister and all the crap she has been going through lately and how May is a really sucky month for her...but every body that reads that...reads this. So not so much to write about yet. But I didn't want everyone to think I'd forgotten about the blog. So hopefully soon something amazing will happen and I can wrtie about it. And then again maybe not!

Little Bunny FooFoo

Well, I finally have something to write about. I thought it would be sooner but I guess the stars were on my side of late.
So I was down in the kitchen the other evening and saw the cutest bunny hopping around out side. I went over to the back doors and watched him for a few and then he hopped away. We have been having trouble with the little cuties eating our flowers here in the hood. One neighbor has gone as far as setting a cage trap to get it and take it far far away so it will leave the beautiful tulips and lillys they have growing in the front yard. Any way, I went back up stairs and not 2 minuets later my son was running up the stairs say "MOM, you have to come downstairs now, #4 and I need your help." I just look at him for a few seconds and said "What is it?" He was all excited and said "There's a bunny in the basement well." Oh @$%#! I thought, jumped up and followed my son down the stairs to the basement and sure ---- there was a bunny in the well. The same one I had just seen hopping around the corner. The grate to the well is just around the corner so he must have not been paying attention and bam! right into the well. Well needless to say the poor thing was terrified and it had a bloody nose. I got my kitchen gloves (we have had mice before and they bite so I was taking caution) and opend up the window and took out the screen and poor thing was just hopping all over the place. Into the screen and the window just trying to hop high enough to get the heck out of there. I know he was thinking "if I could get a running start....." and BAM right into the side of the well. You think after 6 tries he would figure out that that wasn't going to work. So I cornered him and got a hold on him and then I had no frigin idea what the heck I was going to do with the poor thing. So I go upstaris and out side and just stand there with 4 excited kids around me saying "what are you gonna do with...can we keep it...ahwww it's so cute...what are ya gonna do with it? I had no idea so I thought about my neighbor who had a trap and so off I go up the street with a baby bunny in my hands arms out streched. I'm sure my neighbors were inside laughing at me walking up the street with no shoes on and holding a bunny that looks to them may have the plague the way I was holding it. So I get to M's house and knock on the door and they yell "come in" and I said "aaahhhhh I can't kinda got my hands full so M walks around the corner and went to let me in but saw the bunny. He thought I had just caught it outside his house and of course I had to correct him and tell him that I cornered the poor thing. And then he said "what do you want me to do about it"? I said "Your the one who had been trying to catch the rabbits you tell me." So after debating with he and his wife on what to do with it, M tells me to get in his jeep and we will drop it off in the woods about a mile from the house. So big jeep, big tires, hands full, M had to boost me up into the jeep (and you know K he's not to shabby!) So off we go driving along when all of a sudden we hit something that sounds like a huge chain hitting the jeep. M "What the heck was that???" I look in the side mirror but see nothing at all. M "Did we hit a bike?" Me "No and I don't see anything that we could have hit". M (with the look a fear and understanding) "My bit set...it was my bit set. Apparently M was working on the jeep early and had left his bit set on the front of the jeep. All this for a rabbit??? We turn around and find the woods and let the bunny go and boy was he happy to be let go. He just jumped and jumped away in the tall grass. Awwwww. So now we have to go and see if we can find what is left of the bit set. Me in no shoes walking around looking for parts. We found the case in two pieces and bits up and down the road. Cars were driving by real slow with really strange looks on their faces (can you blame them?) Big bald guy and a scary looking woman with no shoes on. All we could do was smile, wave and laugh really hard. So that is the excitement that has been going on here. Little Bunny FooFoo hopping through the woods, and having a story to tell the fam. (even though my hubby told me that I probably killed it, letting it go far away from it's home) Thanks dear! I needed that one. But not to be sad I saw what looked to be the same bunny the next morning in the back yard.(at least that's what I say to help me sleep at night) Cuz ya know rabbits don't have tons of babys at one time and they don't usually all look alike right??? Anyone?

It's lil Bro all over again!

Except I don't think he ever got stitches. I could be wrong but I did, A LOT. Over the weekend the kids 4 and 5 (1 being the oldest, 2 the next...you get the drift) went to Chi town to help M (my hubby) and the eldest move into a rental home until ours is finished being built. Any ways, back to the lil bro thing. In the back yard is a pretty big pine tree (thank goodness it wasn't a magnolia hee hee) and #5 decided he wanted to climb it and then #4 decided that she could do it too. Well, #5 helped her up the tree and then she couldn't get down but not before #5 made it to the tippy top of that tree. All I could do was stand there and laugh and think back to the time my bro climbed to the tippy top of a huge, and I mean HUGE magnolia tree in our back yard when we were growing up and him calling for help. Then I remembered that at one time he also fell all the way down the same tree. So # 5 at the tippy top and I at the bottom tried to talk her down but God love her she just marches to a different drum sometimes and just didn't get it. Don't get me wrong, she is a bright girl but trees or should I say climbing just isn't her thang. Thankfully no one was hurt and we eventually got her down and she was advised not to climb that again. # 5 reminds me so much of my brother that it scares me. But just like lil bro just to dang cute! They are both very lucky they are still here. :) Well, on another note, our house is still up for sale :( 7 showings in 7 weeks is not a bad average but the hook just isn't catching. I wonder if my sisters Son #2 could bring his net and see what he could do for me. Hopefully it will sell soon. The weather is getting nicer up here in IN so the house hunters should be out in droves. (I hope I hope I hope)

Me in a nut shell

Ok, I am new at this and don't really know what I am doing but I'm giving it a try. Does trouble really come in three's cuz if it does I am in big trouble!! Two weeks ago my daughter fell from her scooter and broke her two front teeth, one to the root. Two days ago my son fell at shcool on the bleachers and buster his head open and I had to get him and take him to the ER for stitches. It was two weeks to the day my daughter got hurt and even crazier, I was wearing the same shirt and I had only worn it twice. Needless to say the shirt is no longer. If something else bad happpens I know it won't be the shirts fault. ( unless it shows up on my porch or some thing freeky like that) Ok now that I got that off my mind I guess I could tell those of you who don't know me a little about me and my family. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and we have 5 children between the two of us (none together) . That kinda fools people when we say we have 5 kids. They think they are all mine, yeah right, two was enough and C-sections at that...I don't know nothin bout birthin no babies!!! The eldest is 20, 21 in July. He will be living with us when we move to Chi Town. (that is a whole blog in itself) Next are boy/girl twins who will be 17 in July also (I guess they only did it in October) hee hee! Then there are my two. My oldest is 10 and she thinks she is alot older just look at the picture. Then my son who is 7 and is he a hand full, if he weren't so cute... Right now we live in Indiana and are trying to sell our house. My husband got an awsome job in IL and as soon as we sell we will be moving up with him. So that is us in a nut shell, besides a wonderful sister who lives in TX and my brother (just as awsome) :p who lives in Alaska and my parents who live in OK. We are scattered all over the place. Well I guess that will do it for my first blog. I'm really not that great at expressing my words on paper as well as I can verbally so please forgive me if I go from one thought to another A LOT! You might get dizzy but hopefully when it is all over it will make sence.
